Chapter House

The Alpha Chi Omega sorority at the University of Kansas contacted Treanor Architects to provide a master plan and fundraising feasibility study on the renovation of their chapter house, which needed exterior improvements and interior reorganization. The study included a new site layout with more parking, increased visibility for the front entry and the addition of outdoor gathering spaces; a new shell that would convert the dated exterior to an elevation with "timeless" Greek style; the renovation of the front portion of the house including a new entry, library and study; and the remodeling of the back portion of the house to update sleeping areas, study rooms and restrooms.
