8 Wonders of Kansas Guidebook Released
The Kansas Sampler Foundation recently released its 8 Wonders of Kansas Guidebook. The book features the 8 Wonders of Kansas winners as well as photos and descriptions of all 216 nominated sites. Entries for the contest were divided into the categories of architecture, art, commerce, cuisine, customs, geography, history, and people.
Treanor Preservation’s Vance Kelley, principal, had the honor of writing the introduction to the 8 Wonders of Kansas Architecture section. As he said in his introduction, “Kansas has a vast treasure-trove of architecture that is significant and unique!”
